6 Days and Counting......

Well its been a couple weeks obviously since the last post.....so much has happened in our lives in this time......amazing how God works like that. Have you ever dropped a quarter in one of those large funnel shaped recepticals they have in some malls.....its fun to watch the quarter sweeps slow and wide on its edge ever so slowly it drops down the funnel until at the end its spinning around the hole at what seems like a hundred miles an hour.....well thats the best description I have for our life right now. Sena's father passed away 2 weeks ago now. He was a wonderful man and my life was blessed to have him in it for the past 15 years, William Goble Tackett was his name. Anyways, last week was extremely busy for us and emotionally both our tanks are running on fumes. Truly if it were not for the support of All our loving brothers and sisters in Christ and our families during this time we don't know what we would have done...thanks for the strong shoulders to lean and cry upon.......well here is the latest. We will share our plans for Panama:

May 17 we are heading for Panama (Praise God)
May 18 we will ( If He wills) go to the Iglesia de Cristo in Panama City where the childrens home Casa Hogar Las Americas is located. We will be with Maria and the brethren and all the children and later that day we will return with Maria to our hotel and she is to be with us the rest of this journey.
May 19th we are traveling about 3.5 hours west to Santiago the small capital city of the Veraguas region of Panama. We are supposed to have meetings with a court social worker there......other than that we have no clue what else we will see or do.
May 23-27 we are to return to Panama City and we have no clue what we will be doing as far as the progress of Maria's Visa application or anything.....get the idea? See why my hair is turning white? Anyways .....
May 27 we are to return for the actual adoption hearing in which God willing we will get an adoption decree on this same day we will return to Panama City area. Again, what are we doing?
May 31 We hope to return from Panama with our new princess (this is our plan, we hope it is God's plan!)

Brothers and Sisters, Family and friends we need your prayers on this. That it will go quickly. We went today to the mall and bought my remaining clothes (wow 90+ degrees and its frowned on to wear shorts and a tee shirt down there, long pants and button up shirts or collared shirts are pretty typical) and some for Sena and a bunch of small gifts for those who have helped with Maria in panama. I have to wear my suit to court - I hope I don't spontaneously combust! I think I'll post some more older pictures.
